Seated Oblique Twists with Medicine Ball

Though you might not know it, there are quite likely a host of exercises for stomach muscles you have never even heard of. How about Seated Oblique Twists with Medicine Ball, also known as Russian twists? If you are like most people, these and other exercises for stomach toning are new to you. But with a little bit of learning you could potentially put into practice Seated Oblique Twists with Medicine Ball and get your midsection into shape.

Seated Oblique Twists with Medicine Ball do, in fact, require that you have a medicine ball at hand. While holding the medicine ball of your choosing, in terms of precise weight and size, you will put your body into a basic crunch position. This includes lying belly up with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. From here you will hold the medicine ball to your chest, lifting your shoulders to perform a crunch. However, rather than lifting straight upward and forward, your crunch should twist to so that you can tap the floor at your side with the medicine ball. Of course, you will alternate these exercises for stomach toning from your right to your left in order to give your midsection an even workout. And, as you may have guessed, doing the Seated Oblique Twists with Medicine Ball should be beneficial for toning the oblique muscles along the side of the abdomen.
